アメリカの自己啓発作家デール・カーネギーの
言葉があります・・・
「小事に煩わされないために必要なことは、
努めて力点を変えてみること。
つまり、心の中に新しく愉快な視点を作ることだ。
気にする必要もなく、
忘れてもよい小事で心を乱してはならない。
小事にこだわるには人生はあまりにも短い・・」
おいらもときどき、
些細なことを気にしてしまうことがあります・・
ただ、小さな失敗をいつまでも悩んだり、
些細なことを心配していても
そこから得るものはありません。
であれば、それもすべて受け入れて
楽しんだほうがずっといいとおもうのです。
毎日の生活のなかでポジティブな視点をもつ。
ちょっとしたことでも
一日ひとつの喜びをみつける。
自分や他人のよいところを見る習慣をつける。
そして、自分のよいところは
もっと大きく伸ばしてあげる。
人生はあっという間です。
だからもっと人生を楽しめたら・・
小事にこだわる
これは、小さな悩みと
言い換えることができます・・
デール・カーネギーの
小さい悩みか、大きな悩みかの尺度は、
この文章を読む限り。
1年たったら誰もが忘れてしまう
かどうかということだと思います。
確かに、ほとんどの悩みは一年
もすれば忘れさられるものです。
自分の事でさえも、そうであるならば、
他人は昔の事など、そもそも覚えて
ないいのかもしれません。
案外、悩みというのは、自分はしっかり
覚えていても、相手は覚えていないものです。
例えば、ビジネスで上司とかは、
部下にどんなひどい事を言っても、
気にしてないので、
次の日には自分が何をいったか、
ケロッと忘れているものです。
よっぽど大事なことでないかぎりは、
脳の中で、反復しないので、
きれいサッパリ忘れてしまいます。
一方で、
言われた本人は悩むものですね
昨日の彼氏の発言がどうとか、
親からこう言われたとか、
友達がこういったとか、
その発言を心の中で反芻して
しっかりと記憶に定着させて
しまいます。
結局は、そういう事に執着しているのは
自分自身なのだと思います。
仏教の教えは、
そういう執着を捨る事を教えていますが、
あながち本質をついています。
でも、なかなか小事への執着を
捨てるのは難しいものです・・
小事と大事の差は一年間で他人が
忘れられるか、忘れられないか・・
基準は自分ではなく他人・・
そう考えると、今起きている事の大部分が
小事となってしまう・・
人生を楽しむためにはあっけらかんと
切り替えられることが大切かも
知れないですね・・・
