ジャネーの法則というのを聞いたことはありますか？
ジャネーの法則（ジャネーのほうそく）は、19世紀のフランスの哲学者・ポール・ジャネが発案し、甥の心理学者・ピエール・ジャネの著書において紹介された法則。主観的に記憶される年月の長さは年少者にはより長く、年長者にはより短く評価されるという現象を心理学的に説明した。
簡単に言えば生涯のある時期における時間の心理的長さは年齢の逆数に比例する（年齢に反比例する）。
例えば、50歳の人間にとって1年の長さは人生の50分の1ほどであるが、5歳の人間にとっては5分の1に相当する。よって、50歳の人間にとっての10年間は5歳の人間にとっての1年間に当たり、5歳の人間の1日が50歳の人間の10日に当たることになる。（ウィキペディアから）
よく言われる話しですが
年齢とともに時間が経つのも速く感じられます。
その理由についてはいろいろな説がありますが、
ジャネーの法則によると、
10歳の子供の1年に比べて
30歳の大人の1年は3倍も速く感じるそうです。
年齢以外でも何かに集中しているときや
楽しいことをしているときには
時間の経過が速く感じますよね。
休日はあっというまに終わってしまうというのは
子供のこらから同じです。
逆に、つまらなく感じているときや
変化が少ないときには
時が経つのも遅く感じるもの。
感覚の問題ですので
時間が速く感じるのは仕方ないとして
年をとってしまったからと納得し、
自分の人生に消極的になってしまうことは避けたいですよね。
永六輔さんの言葉
「 人間、今が一番若いんだよ。
明日より今日の方が若いんだから。
いつだって、その人にとって今が一番若いんだよ。 」
のように考えていきましょう・・
さらに、ジャネーの法則によると、
体感的には20歳で人は人生の半分を終えているようです。
20歳から80歳くらいまでの長い年月は、
0歳から20歳までの体感時間と同じということになります。
30歳の人が「つい最近まで20歳のつもりだったのに、
いつのまにか30になってたよ」と
よく口にするのも、納得がいくでしょう・・
おいらも60歳が見えてきました・・
早いのか、遅いのか・・・
