少し長いですが松下幸之助翁の言葉です・・
「自分には自分に与えられた道がある。
天与の尊い道がある。
どんな道かは知らないが、他の人には歩めない。
自分だけしか歩めない、
二度と歩めぬかけがえのないこの道。
広いときもある。狭いときもある。
のぼりもあれば、くだりもある。
坦々としたときもあれば、
かきわけかきわけ汗するときもある。
この道が果たしてよいのか悪いのか、
思案にあまるときもあろう。
なぐさめを求めたくなるときもあろう。
しかし、所詮はこの道しかないのではないか。
あきらめろと言うのではない。
いま立っているこの道、
いま歩んでいるこの道、
とにかくこの道を休まず歩むことである。
自分だけしか歩めない大事な道ではないか。
自分だけに与えられている
かけがえのないこの道ではないか。
他人の道に心を奪われ、
思案にくれて立ちすくんでいても、
道は少しもひらけない。
道をひらくためには、
まず歩まねばならぬ。
心を定め、懸命に歩まねばならぬ。
それがたとえ遠い道のように思えても、
休まず歩む姿からは
必ず新たな道がひらけてくる。
深い喜びも生まれてくる・・」
自分の生きる道、自分にしか歩めない道を
見つけることがれば、人生は
ほとんど成功したようなものですね・・
「自分の道」を見つけたら、
思い切ってその道を歩き始めること、
そして、ひたすら歩き続ける。
しかし、多くの人は「自分の道」を
見つける段階であきらめてしまいます・・
まずは、歩むべき「道」を
探すことから始めてみませんか・・
自分の歩んできた道、
自分の選択した道に疑問を感じたとき、
言葉には、
心の迷いを捨て去る力があります・・
「 いま立っているこの道、
いま歩んでいるこの道、
とにかくこの道を休まず歩むことである 」
それが道を切りひらき、
そして自分に深い喜びをもたらすと。
他人の道ではなく、
自分の道を歩んでいく。
松下幸之助さんがよくいわれていた
「無理をしない」という言葉の意味も
言葉のなかにそのヒントがあるような気がします・・
「自分だけに与えられているかけがえのないこの道」
を信じて今日もまた、
前を向いて歩いていきたいですね・・
