おいらの尊敬する経営者の一人にスティーブ・ジョブズが
います・・2011年10月に56歳で亡くなりました、2003年に
膵臓がんが発見され、治療途中の2005年6月に
スタンフォード大学学位授与式にて卒業生に送られた
スピーチが感動します・・その中のほんの一部を
ご紹介します、若者に向けられた言葉と思わずに
お読みください・・
「あなたたちの持つ時間は限られています・・
自分以外の誰かの人生に自分の時間を費やす
時間などありません・・
他人の考え方が生んだドグマ(常識や固定概念)という
罠に掛かってはいけません。
他人の雑音に自分の内なる声や心、直感を
打ち消されないことです・・
自分の内なる声、心、直感というのは、
あなたたちが本当に望んでいる姿は何かを
既に知っているのです・・
だからそれ以外のことは全て、
二の次で構わないのです・・」

縛られることで、安心、安全であると信じているから・・
何か決断しなければいけないとき、直感的に嫌だと
思っても、違和感を感じても、自身で
打ち消してしまったりしていませんか？
本当に望んでいる姿は何なのか、改めて
問い直す必要があるのでしょうね・・・
アップル創業者のスティーブ・ジョブズは
仕事の面から見れば、
彼は間違いなく成功者です・・
ただ職歴から人生を見るのではなく、
自分の生き方にこだわった。
お金のためでもなく、
地位、名誉でもなく、
誰かの価値観のためでもない。
常に自分の心と直感を信じようとした。
自分のためだけではなく、
社会への感謝として、
自分がお返しできる何かを追求し、
そこに情熱を注いだのでしょう。
